This is my third creation made in Blender, and I really don't like how I cut it, cause it doesn't look like a smooth quarter pipe you see at skateparks. I'm not really satisfied with my design, but I thought I'd show you guys my progress so far with Blender.

Here's an animation I created of the same image so you guys can see the sides, and such.

You can click here to download the .zip file which includes the .gif, and .avi animation you see above, and also the 2 project files. (1 of the still picture, and another of the animation)

Thanks bro, I'm in the mix of making a series of tutorials for Blender that way I can help people understand, and see how it works. A lot of people make it harder than it is, and that's cause they don't know how the user interface works, and the tutorials will go over a lot of the main, and basic aspects of Blender to get users to create designs in blender, edit videos, and/or create games.

I decided to create a separate site for it, but I haven't released any information out on it yet, cause I have a lot to do with the website, but I'm sure users will be satisfied once it comes up, and they can checkout the tutorials there. The blender tutorial site though will be replacing Gimp Video Effects (Gimp tutorials site for using Gimp for video special effects) of course they'll be a change of domain name. I think a lot of people will be helped in Blender with this site.

Cool. But i dont think it will need it's own and to overdue it or the one you had. Just make a section for it on here or your forum or make a blog for it or something to post tuts and get support or help questions etc.. No need to have to of it's own just for that little bit. No matter how much you put on it unless it's pro tuts and like tonssss of them. Other wise no need.

----------

create a section here man or let me know and ill create it. Then can post them up with vids to or whatever and all of the above.  thumbs up

Yeah they'll be tons of tutorials on Blender, I'll post the tuts on here, and on my official site's forum, that way I can help more users out there. Although I gotta redo a lot of my old Gimp tutorials before I start the new Blender tutorials, cause I've been putting them aside, and it's been quite awhile, so I think I'm gonna redo some tutorials before I do any new ones. (The low quality, or long video tutorials on youtube that can be in HD, and short, or shorter)

I decided to go back to this project, and mod it a bit to make it look better now that I have a better understanding of Blender, plus I tried that 360 degree animation of the camera, as seen on the matrix, which I've never tried before, but I can see I need to fix that a bit. As well as the lighting.

You can download the project file below, but you must open it in Blender 2.5, cause 2.49- doesn't support environmental lighting. The compressed zip file includes. The final image (as seen above), The project file, and a readme text document.
