You mean this notice i posted here ??? http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7security/thread/2f655adc-50f0-40d3-8fb7-de8b6a1faaa5There are some good answers for you there depending on what OS you plan on using but... Also might want to try the new MS Onecare live. Called Microsoft Security_Essentials. http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/It's free and supposedly pretty good. I actually was always against Norton Internet Security Suit but the new version 2010 of that and also McAfee seem to be pretty damn good now. I am now using Norton 2010 on my new system and love the new suit. Has real time updates on definitions and alot of good stuff. I'm real happy so far and also with the interface of the program itself now as well. Plus all the new personal ways and settings to get right down and dirty to exactly how you want to set it.

Hi B No, not from your post, but the letter you sent them, that you got from live one care, that's why now i'm searching for something good, my computer setup is: Microsoft windows xp home edition version 2002 service pack 3 Hewlett Packard Pavilion AMD athlon (m) 64 processor 3200 + 1.99 ghz 512 Mb ram and i'm using for keyboard and mouse control logitech, if that matters on that?? oh and for extra usb ports, i use a kensington to get four more usb ports-so, that's external. and an acer flat panel monitor.

That pic of the letter was what i was referring to hun.
and uhm... Yeah like i said above. Depends really if you want a free one or a paid version.
If you have a lot of important shit on your units i would suggest you go with a paid.

so, when you download a new program, it won't take over your entire computer, and you don't have to uninstall and reinstall it, that's why i always hated norton, but if it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me, i rely on you for all this info, but you know that already.
p.s., as a side note, i'm leaving nutspace after the 10th of the month when i get an autograph request handled and done for the boss.
you said something to me one day and it was the truth, people do things on purpose to get a rise out of you and it happened all the time over there, the network makes me sick now, what's the point in doing that crap, yeah, i know, people don't get jollies elsewhere and that's why they do it.

Im not sure what you mean or asking. Yes they do on myspace..but.. that is really all over the net. people think they can be tough guys or ass holes over the net and nobody can do nothing about it so they think that makes them cool or some shit.. lol.

what i mean about Norton this, you have it on your system, you decide afterwards, download a game or another software program in your computer, , you would instruct norton to allow the program, but it would present problems with your software you just put on the computer.
so the only way to fix that was to uninstall norton, then reinstall it, then everything would work fine, this as recent for someone i knew with pogo games they told me.
that's what i meant with norton 2010, if anything like this comes up, you can work around it and not have to uninstall or reinstall now, i hope this made sense, it's the best way i can describe it.
and yes on the net deal, seems everyone is quite tough with a keyboard today eh??..........my comic statement on this today is, oh please don't swing that keyboard at me mama!!!!!! LOL

No it doesn't do anything like that anymore....
I think you are referring to the firewall maybe i dunno but.. it all depends on how you have it set up with the settings. As default it doesn't do what you are saying anymore or anytime that i know of in the past so..
