Web Layout Made In Blender

I decided I'd try making a web layout in Blender, and as you can see my final result is kind of dull, but some good news though, I created a blender site, in which I'm pretty much promoting with the image, but I have a lot to do with the site, and every image designed on the site will be made in Blender. Also to anyone who wants to learn blender I'll be creating a forum (SMF) for the site sometime tomorrow, and if I don't get to it then you'll haft to wait till Sunday, and I'll just be using a premade web layout, and anyone who has questions regarding Blender can go ahead, and head there, and the community, and myself will answer them.

The Blender site will go over modeling, designing, gaming, etc: but I'm gonna try and create more video editing tutorials from basic to advanced so users can get the feel of how it works.

it's ok.. Not bad i guess but do not like the font and text on the bottom pieces like that below. Looks to big for the look & feel of it.
etc..

By the way. No need to make the whole thing with B. Just do pieces then import them into PS to finish everything else up so it all comes together good instead of to much block / 3d lookin stuff. etc

That's what I decided to do, cause making web layouts in Blender is a pain in the ass lol.

Normally when I get ready to make a web layout, or start one I know right off the bat what to do, and design it what I have pictured in my head, but with this blender site I'm blank, and that's never happened before, and it sucks.

I'm thinking on just making some sketches on web layouts, and see which one I seem to like better, and make the layout off of that.

yup. I actually do that alot. Good way but still will be hard to incorp blender unless doing parts of the layout that is 3d etc... then the rest as normal and so forth.

idk if I wanna use Blender for it, I'll make the smileys in it as that's not hard, but the layout I'm just gonna stick with Gimp right now unless I get some idea that pops up, when I'm designing.

there is an overboard tho when you mess with certain looks and feels. Like 3d just like bevel. Dont get caught up in that cause do not want to go overboard with a certain style or style or loook.  :Smiley

True, I've done that in the past, but mainly with blurs.
